Contact control

Traditional skating boots are constructed on a carrying support, made of an internal thick insole and a thick external sole, to which a blade or frame is mounted. Edea has improved this method and we have built an internal strong supporting structure, directly in contact to the foot with the following advantages:

BETTER SENSITIVITY and CONTROL Less material layers between the ground and the feet enhance a better direct power transmission.
BETTER STABILITY The reduced distance from the ground gives better stability, perception and lower displacement. The rounded design of the heel allows a homogeneous distribution of the weight and torsion stability.
NO TORSION The supportive insole is made of strong manmade material and fibreglass. Therefore the structure is insulating, non deformable and it guarantees the best hold of the blade screws.
WATERPROOF SOLE The sole is made of a compact material, resistant to humidity and temperature, it does not absorb moisture and the blade does not sink into the sole.
BOOT SHAPING During the production the boot is anatomically shaped to avoid unnecessary empty spaces around the foot, for the best control.
SOLE LATERAL ROUNDED EDGES For deeper leaning.
